Let's be honest, we do not feel like cooking on most days. By the time you think about planning a meal/menu, purchasing the ingredients, cooking the meal, and cleaning up the kitchen/dining room, you feel like taking a nap. However, you must eat to keep your strength. What choice do we have when we feel like we have no choice? We must remember that food is our friend so this blog will do the following:
- Provide quick meals (mostly menus for 15 minute, 20 minute, and 30 minute meals).
- List items/tools for our kitchen/refrigerator/freezer/pantry.
- Research books/ebooks/magazines/pamplets/websites to plan better meals.
- Show ideas/comments/suggestions from other women with chronic invisible illnesses.
My goal is for us to realize that food is necessary but it should be enjoyed.
