Local Spring Travel Ideas with Children

As a parent, you want to spend time with your children. However, you do not want to worry about costs, or travel issues . Here are three possible spring time activities to enjoy with your children and experience local travel. 1) Think about visiting your local museum. Contact a museum representative. Ask about the hours of operation and any family discount specials. 2) Enjoy bike ride as another spring time activity with the children. The family can have fun outside, travel through neighborhoods and spend time together. 3) Watch a local softball game in person. Save money and bring your own snacks. Snack ideas include popcorn, chips and juices for the children.

Travel

Holiday travel can be draining with delays, higher costs, and not so great food.

1) Leave for your flight 45-60 minutes earlier since delays are expected.
2) Minimize your gift dragging by sending them to the designated location earlier.
3) Keep your favorite snacks like almonds and cranberries for your delays.
4) Take your favorite pillow to make your flight a little smoother.
5) Use the time wisely but taking your favorite books/magazines.

These simple steps may take your mind off your travel schedule and allow you to enjoy your reason for travel-see your family and friends so smile and enjoy....

Travel

Its hard to believe that its the last few weeks of summer . Just think of the hot weather, the beach, lazy days at the park, and barbecues that will soon fad away so I hope that you have enjoyed your summer travel.

If you have not taken a vacation but still have a week to get away, do not forgot to check with you travel agent to say if she can offer some good deals. Close your eyes and think about a nice, warm place like the Bahamas, or renting a condo near a Mexican beach. Heck, if you can not take a week, maybe a 3 to 4 day weekend while suffice. Here in the New York City area, I notice more people taking back to back weekends because of the economy.

Remember, It is not the cost of the travel but the number of days enjoyed that will be lasting.
