Volunteer to Finish Up the School Year

Many schools have closed for the summer. However, if your local school has not closed, you can volunteer to clean up. Some schools have experienced extensive budget cuts so any help is good news.

Remember, speak with your medical provider before engaging in any physical activity.

Reading and Self-Improvement

There are plenty of great books for June reading at the park, beach, and backyard. Most of us enjoy a good murder mystery or a nice romance novel.

However, purchase at least 1 or 2 books for self-improvement. For example, if you learning to bake, buy a book on healthy desserts. If you are not sure about your purchase, you can borrow the book from the library before making a book purchase.

  1. Prepare a small budget for each family activity. For instance, a total budget of $200.00 may be your desired amount for all family activites.
  2. Buy multiple items for the same low costs. Think notepads, calculators, and appointment books.
